Permanent non-surgical brow lifting using Dr Hotaki’s method

Brow position shapes facial expression

My author-developed method addresses brow position and the direction of lift. I create an individual plan based on the existing brow shape, asymmetry, facial proportions and the patient’s preferences.

Cat eyes, fox eyes or a vertical lift

The desired appearance helps guide the direction of correction. An emphasis on the outer brow may be used to pursue a cat-eye or fox-eye look, while a vertical direction addresses upward brow elevation. These terms describe an aesthetic aim. I determine the actual plan after assessing the anatomy, considering each side separately.

My implant and an individual plan

I use a soft, flexible, non-absorbable implant and my custom-designed needle. The implant provides mechanical tissue support. The permanent designation refers to the non-absorbable material; natural ageing continues.

Under local anaesthesia

I perform the procedure under local anaesthesia. Before treatment, I discuss the intended direction and extent of correction with the patient. My aim is to achieve the desired change in brow position while respecting individual facial features.

Two separate clinical cases

The photographs below show two different patients: the first pair is a frontal view and the second a side view. Each pair shows before and after the procedure. Both patients have consented to publication.
